Sales Executive

A friendly and ambitious local business, which has a growing portfolio of business interests is looking for a Sales Executive to join its commercial team.

The firm retains a close family feel, where employees are looked after, rewarded and cared for, but it is also a real success story, having grown to be a significant business both in terms of turnover, products and national coverage.

This role is works in the sales team, working closely with customers as they enquire about services that the firm offers. A consultative and exploratory process, the buying journey that a customer will go on is often quite complicated and involved so excellent rapport building skills, combined with expert consultancy and listening skills are required to be successful. The firm is known for caring passionately about delivering extremely high levels of service, always delivered with warmth, care and enthusiasm. To enter the team you will need to be someone who fits in with that culture and shares the same high standards of professionalism.

Training will be given about their products and services and experience of their sector will not be available within the market. The role is therefore open to people who have business to business sales experience or high level customer service experience that has required a consultative sales process where customers then make a subsequent complex purchase. The role has a strong commission package with top earnings often seeing their base salary again over a calendar year. Basic salary will be £23,000 but OTE is £40,000 – £50,000.

To apply to this role you should be able to work from a Guildford based office and be looking for a role that is office based. The business does have a flexible and accommodating culture but the nature of the products, services and sales cycle will require presence at the site. You should be able to demonstrate exceptional customer focus and a track record of being successful in either a business to business sales of high level customer service environment.

Salary: c £23,000 basic, bonus & commission, OTE £42,000
