The Accelerated Adoption of Digital HR

Our next HR snap shot is out next week.

We interview 50 HR leaders each 1/4 to learn about their focuses, key issues and plans. The snap shot identifies trends and reports back on findings, giving the HR community we hope a unique insight to current considerations and a useful thought leadership tool.

This issue is really interesting as some of the lasting consequences of the pandemic are starting to become clear.

And there are some real positives to draw from it, long term change in the way we work and behave is clearly evident.

One of the findings in this issue was that the pandemic had accelerated the adoption of ‘digital HR’.

Undoubtedly driven by the need to keep connected with people remotely and utilized to deliver process and procedure, of the 50 that we spoke to:

  • 12 had implemented new HR systems over the last year
  • 13 had implemented new LMS platforms
  • 24 of the 50 now had fully functioning web chat HR services available for their employees and staff.
  • Another 3 had made new investments in online tools to replace appraisal systems.
