Recruitment specialist in HR & Human Capital Management

Senior People Advisor (HRBP)

A rapidly growing tech (software platform) business, which is growing both through market organic opportunity and through acquisition, is looking for a Senior People Advisor (HRBP) to join its developing HR function.

The firm is PE backed and growing at a pace. The future is bright and the business is doing a great job at realising its commercial goals and dreams.

Following rapid growth over the last few years, the People agenda is now very different to what the business needed before. A new HR Director has been appointed, in order to create a function that will service the business in the best possible way, whilst also creating a People plan and a function that can deliver to the firms aspirations of building a brand that is an employer of choice within its field.

Greenfield, this role will act as the second most senior person in a current HR team of 6 that is going to grow further. Operating as Senior People Advisor, we are looking for an experienced HR Advisor or HRBP who is totally confident in their operational HR experience and knowledge, someone who can make a difference there, providing brilliant service to the business, whilst also helping other advisors to learn and grow.

Getting stuck in, across the whole business initially, the role will deal with all employee relations, partner key business leaders to resource plan, manage change (and TUPE potentially), whilst also getting involved in a range of projects that could vary from benefits and reward, through to HR systems implementation and policy updates.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to get in early, into a business and a function that is going places. There is balance, right now the function is chasing its tail, and being a start up, until the new HR function completes its benefits projects, the role will not offer initial benefits that are competing with corporate businesses (although  it will in the future and you will be part of that design).

To apply to the role you should be a confident and credible HR practitioner who has exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills. You will likely be working at HRBP or senior HR Advisor level now. You should have an innate ability to deliver great service and a natural inclination to talk to stakeholders to understand issues and solve problems. You should be CIPD qualified and it would be beneficial if you have experienced start up / fast growth environments. The successful candidate will be relentlessly positive, creative, adaptable, proactive and resourceful.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000, bonus, developing benefits suite that will be very competitive next year

Location: London (City office 1-2 days and hybrid / home)
