Recruitment Officer

A leading charity based in North Surrey is looking for a Recruiter to join their Recruitment team.

Taking a lead on hiring to back office roles, the position will provide a timely and effective in house recruitment service to the organisation, at all times being aware and mindful of their processes and procedures.

The role will work across typical back office functions (IT, Finance, Marketing etc) and it will also gain exposure to hiring across departments specific to the charity – fundraising for example.

The charity has great purpose and as a result, people often want to work for the organisation in order to make a difference to peoples lives. The organisation has a fantastic reputation and it is a compelling cause that they serve. The challenge is to ensure that the best available talent is attracted to the organisation, to assist the organisation to make sure it is resourced with great talent for the future and to support the organisation with its temporary recruitment needs, which can fluctuate at times.

The role will offer an efficient and pro active service to managers but it will also play a key role in developing ideas and learning from experience and data what makes a difference to the organisation when it hires into the given areas. This role would suit an operational recruiter who is looking to gain further experience and enjoy autonomy for handling needs across their areas.

To apply to this role you should be a recruiter who has experience of delivering to a variety of vacancies across different professions and departments. You should have strong communication and stakeholder management skills and be a team player who enjoys being part of a team that likes to help each other out. The organisation does have regulated standards that needs to be adhered to so strong levels of attention to detail and high levels of organisation and pc literacy are also important to deliver to this role effectively.

Salary: Up to £37,500 hybrid working
