A global business which has a range of divisions, products and interests is looking for a HR Business Partner to join one of its UK businesses.
Working in a small team, this is a role that needs to work effectively in a corporate business (at times liaising with group HR and other divisional teams), but in the main, also be happy and effective at working in a true generalist, top to bottom fashion, within a division that at times feels relatively small.
Duties will be varied, but the main operational focus of the role is to manage employee relations issues, recruit for the business and manage all associated suppliers and processes and to ensure that employee receive timely and effective guidance when they have queries that reach the function.
At project and strategic level, the role offers great exposure to a range of interesting work. The role will resource plan, coach managers through workforce planning, succession and talent planning, assist the Head of HR with the people plan and at times manage change, including the occasional TUPE transfers.
This is busy and varied role that will suit a HRBP / Senior HR Advisor who has a lot of confidence in dealing with ER issues and enjoys being close to a business. You must be happy delivering to an operational workload in the main, whilst managing projects alongside that essential daily work. Experience of working with back office and blue collar client groups would be preferable and experience of managing change including TUPE would be beneficial. The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified, positive in their outlook and effective at managing a varied workload with lots of different deadlines. The role is based in Surrey and the business operates with a hybrid working pattern – the ability to wok in the office (near Guildford), a few days per week as a minimum is important.
Salary: Up to £65,000. Car allowance, pension, hybrid. 25 days holiday
