A famous sporting brand is looking for a People Business Partner to join one of its divisional HR teams.
Joining a team that is supporting a newly formed business, this is a brilliant opportunity for a HR Business or HR Manager to secure a role with a world-famous brand in the world of sport.
Reporting to the Head of People, this role will act as the Head of People’s number two. It will manage a HR Advisor and contribute to the development of the HR function.
Duties will develop as the business and role evolves. Right now, everything is in start-up mode. Contracts, policies, structures, benefits, are all being worked on and implemented. The demands of the business are being learnt about and understood, with HR support designing what the business will need to flourish in the future.
As the business matures and processes are established, the role will settle into a Business Partnering role. Here it will work with Senior Managers and designated client groups to locally develop the people plan and work with the business to ensure that it has the support it needs to reach its commercial goals. Focus will likely be on ER case management, talent and succession planning and workforce planning.
To apply to this exciting opportunity, you should be a HR Business Partner (possibly Manager), who is not phased by working in changing and developing start up situations.
It is expected that you will be CIPD qualified and that you will have gained your experience from sports businesses or sporting brands. You should have a generalist skill set which includes experience of managing employee relations issues, TUPE and working with managers through growth and change.
Experience of new or changing environments will be viewed very positively. It would be highly beneficial if you have gained experience of working in environments that have utilised seasonal, temporary and fluctuating workforces. Experience with SAP would be advantageous.
You must be able to work in the office 3-4 days per week.
The successful candidate will bring the required skills, qualifications experience, along with a positive, can-do attitude. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work well within developing structures and not be phased by ambiguity.
Salary: Up to £70,000 plus bonus and benefits
Location: West London locations, near Hammersmith, 3-4 days per week in the office
