A leading charity based near Epsom in Surrey is looking for an HR Advisor to join their supportive and busy HR team. This organization has great purpose in what it does but it also works to high standards and with forward thinking ideas when it comes to its back office functions.
This varied and busy opportunity will mainly manage employee relations issues, but it will also champion and develop manager capability, workforce plan, assist with change and work on projects as and when they arise. It will also in busy periods get struck in to co-ordinative and processing workload in the function to help out the HR co-ordinators.
The organization supports hybrid working but the offices and site in general are integral to the organisations purpose and function. Applicants should therefore apply knowing that office time a couple of days per week (2-3 ideally) is really required to integrate and be part of the organization (applicants within a reasonable commute of Epsom will only be considered).
To apply to this role you should be a HR Advisor who is confident building relationships with line managers and has confidence in their employment law knowledge. It is an ideal opportunity for someone to start to get exposure to workload that would usually come at a HR BP level.
Where you can make a big impact for the organisation is in the ER space. It is intended that the role will be a focal point for managing employee relations issues so you should apply knowing that the role will have a high proportion of its time in this space.
Experience from charitable organisations will be viewed as beneficial but applicants from the private sector will also be welcomed.
The successful candidate will be positive and can do in their approach and have a desire to succeed.
