HR Advisor

An exciting start up business (media and creative sector), is looking for a HR Advisor to join its developing HR function.

 

Whilst this is a start up business, it is a newly formed business, established from within a very successful and established group of businesses. This should not be viewed as a risky business to join – its plan for growth is obvious for all to see.

 

Reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner, this is a brilliant opportunity for a HR Advisor to gain further experience and help to deliver a first class, commercial and professional HR service to the business.

 

Duties will develop as the business and role evolves.

Right now, the firm is in start up mode – everything from contracts, policies, structures, benefits are being worked on and implemented. As HR Advisor you will gain valuable experience to these start up processes, whilst also working on recruitment campaigns, and providing a reactive generalist service to needs as they arise. It is likely that you will assist in project – across systems, change and resource planning aswell as dealing with a varied and busy day to day workload.

 

As processes are set up and more people arrive, the role will move into a generalist role that will have the opportunity to partner with some specific departments.

 

To apply to this role you should be a CIPD qualified HR Officer / Advisor. Ideally you will have gained experience in creative / media / production related environments. You should be CIPD qualified to level 5 and be able to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development. You must have experience from commercial, private sector businesses. You should have a generalist skills set which has seen you gain some experience to dealing with ER issues. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator who is passionate, who demonstrates a positive can-do attitude and has an obvious passion for delivering a first class HR service to stakeholders.

Salary: Up to £45,000, bonus, pension, 25 days.

Location: West End, London. 3-4 day per week in the office
