Account Executive

A leading sports related organisation is looking for an Account Executive to join its UK Sales function. Working across existing customers, this role will work to deepen engagement and relationships across a customer base whilst ensuring that there is repeat business and renewals. The role will also work to realise up sell opportunities across the client groups, making the client base aware of the other product streams and experiences that the business can offer.

An account management role in the main, the role will be targeted to achieve a sales target and it will be expected to act with entrepreneurial spirit and creative flair to maximise the businesses commercial performance.

Sales activity will be varied – face to face meetings, virtual presentations, phone calls, following up on marketing campaigns will all be part of a standard week. Planned, long-term account performance reviews and development plans will also form part of this role.

To apply to this role, you must be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering against targets. You should have experience that is account management (or potentially new business) focused which has measurable outcome in growing and renewing business. You might have an interest in sport, but this is not essential.

The successful candidate will be a competitive, driven, and motivated individual who is self-starting, inquisitive and customer focused. The successful candidate will have well developed communication, listening and presentation skills aswell as a strong work ethic and passion for people.

Salary: Up to £25,000 basic, £40,000 OTE

Location: Ascot
